"The Better White Milk"
"Oliver" Sally's steer calf

Thank you for visiting Shoals Creek Farm! We are homesteading five acres in beautiful upstate South Carolina. We moved from the hustle and bustle of the city in search of a more simple way of living to raise and homeschool our children. It has been an awesome adventure with lots of learning and new challenges.
We have a small herd of Nubian Dairy Goats where their health is of utmost importance. Currently our raw goat's milk is available for purchase for animal use only. Please click on the link for contacting us if you would like more information on our milk. We feed our girls only raw grains; no soy products or any premade packaged concentrate. They are on an excellent mineral which includes yeast and kelp, and they have free access to alfalfa hay.
From birth on, we have an intense management system in place which includes regular sampling to check for parasites and other common diseases. Everyone receives extra selenium and vitamin e, and we copper bolus all our animals twice a year. The entire herd is tested annually for CAE and all animals are up to date on all vaccinations. We are very proud of our small herd and look forward to the birth of new babies in late Winter/early Spring. We dam raise all babies here at Shoals Creek as we feel this is the natural way kids should be raised. If you are interested in purchasing any offspring, we will surely pull babies at birth and bottle feed at your request. Please visit our animal pages to see these beauties.
We have added a beautiful Irish Dexter Cow - Sally Mae to our farm this year. We are excited as she will calve in late July. We have enjoyed the bounty from our organic garden and suport local agriculture whenever possible. Loving our farm fresh eggs, and making wonderful cheese, yogurt, keifer, fudge, buttermilk, and best of all, natural goat's milk lotion and soap. Thank you for your interest in Shoals Creek Farm, and enjoy your time here.
